Suddenlink has received an “Employer Award of Excellence” in east Texas from the Texas Workforce Commission, which provides workforce development services to Texas employers and job seekers.

The company also announced this week the introduction of high-definition TV service in Minden, La., and Newport, Ark. — with an initial slate of 22 HD channels in both markets.
