Earlier this week, we spotlighted remarks by a senior staff member in the office of Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) regarding the DTV transition. More recently, the Senator herself made news when she said she’d “resist efforts to mandate” both the selling of cable channels one-by-one (a.k.a., “a la carte”) and so-called “network neutrality” rules.

Elsewhere on the Hill, the NFL may be increasingly concerned about potential antitrust scrutiny, prompted in part by its controversial NFL Network.
