Web video continues to grow in viewership, based on the August Nielsen VideoCensus. Nielsen’s latest report indicates that in August, just over 139 million Internet users watched video online. That was an increase of 2.4 percent over July and a jump of 41 percent over August of last year. Those 139 million viewers watched over 11 billion video streams, averaging over 80 streams per viewer.
