Coverage of Major League Baseball’s postseason begins exclusively on TBS tomorrow. In a new playoff format, two Wild Card teams in each league will play a single-elimination game. Winners will advance to compete with division champions from their respective leagues in the Division Series.
Tomorrow’s games feature the St. Louis Cardinals vs. the Atlanta Braves (4 p.m. CT) followed by the Baltimore Orioles vs. the Texas Rangers (7:30 p.m. CT). On Saturday, the Division Series get under way with the Oakland A’s playing the Detroit Tigers (4:30 p.m. CT) and the Cincinnati Reds facing the San Francisco Giants (8:30 p.m. CT). On Sunday, the New York Yankees will play the winner of the Orioles-Rangers game and the Washington Nationals will take on the winner of the Cardinals-Braves game. Game times will be announced.
TBS will televise up to 18 Division Series games and the entire American League Championship Series. The network is available to all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
