TiVo Stream Service Introduced
Starting last week, we expanded the availability of the ground-breaking TiVo® Stream service, which allows customers to stream TV shows around the house wirelessly on iPod Touch, iPads and iPhones, and also transfer DVR-recorded programs to the same mobile devices for later viewing on the go.
Ability to transfer some programs to these devices may be prohibited by the program owners. Android devices and access to video-on-demand content will be added later.
In October, we became the first cable provider in the country to offer TiVo Stream, which is now available in the following communities: Abilene, Amarillo, Andrews, Big Spring, Canyon, Floydada, Lubbock, Midland, Plainview, Post, San Angelo, Snyder and Sweetwater, Texas; Clovis, N.M.; and Greenville, Kinston, New Bern, Rocky Mount, Tarboro, Williamston and Washington, N.C.
We expect to further expand the availability of TiVo Stream to additional markets in the near future.
