Suddenlink FYI

“The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” which debuts on Suddenlink Video on Demand (VOD) next Tuesday, is one of the few based-on-the-book films whose author, screenwriter and director are one in the same.  American novelist Stephen Chbosky wears all three hats for the coming-of-age tale set in the early 1990s that quickly became a cult classic in print. Wonder if the movie lives up to the book?  This critic and self-professed bibliophile recommends both.
