Marathon Celebrates Emmy Nods for ‘Louie’

FX’s “Louie” is the first basic cable series ever to be nominated for an Emmy in the outstanding Comedy Series category. To celebrate the show’s six nominations, FX will broadcast all 13 episodes of Louie’s third and most recent season tomorrow, Aug. 17, from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. CT.

From the inventive mind of Louis C.K., the show puts a spotlight on the comedian’s everyday ordeals, his quest to find love and his pursuit of humor. Each episode features a scripted story and a mix of his stand-up comedy, which is original material for the series. The single-camera comedy is shot in New York.

FX is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
