Bossier City Store Remodel Unveiled
Mayor Lo Walker and Chamber of Commerce representatives helped local Suddenlink employees and regional executives cut a ceremonial ribbon this week to celebrate the opening of our newly renovated retail store in Bossier City, La.
The store has been outfitted with a new customer-friendly layout and features bright green and blue décor inside and out. A large new Suddenlink sign stands outside the location.
Since last September, Suddenlink has unveiled new or renovated stores in Payson, Ariz.; Arkadelphia, Jonesboro, El Dorado and Russellville, Ark.; Alexandria, Natchitoches and Ruston, La.; Greenwood, Miss.; Branson and St. Joseph, Mo.; Stillwater, Okla.; Abilene, Bryan, Conroe, Little Elm and Lubbock, Texas; and Point Pleasant, W. Va.
San Angelo Names Suddenlink ‘Best Internet’
“We take great pride in knowing that Internet users in San Angelo recognize Suddenlink as the leader in Internet service,” said San Angelo Director of Operations Monica Kincer. “In addition to providing the most reliable service and fastest speeds in town, we also have a great team of dedicated employees who work hard to provide the utmost in customer service.”
This week, Suddenlink began offering residential customers in San Angelo its new High Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service. With download speeds up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps), it is the fastest residential Internet service offered in the area.
Greenwood Debuts Store Renovations
A bright new store design debuted in Greenwood, Miss., this week at a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included visits from Greenwood Mayor Carolyn McAdams, local Chamber of Commerce representatives and Suddenlink regional executives.
The store, a base of operations for 15 employees, now offers customers hands-on interactive displays featuring Suddenlink services. Counters no longer separate salespeople from customers, allowing more personal interaction.

Fantasy action film “Undeworld Awakening” is now available through Suddenlink Video on Demand.

CNN Series Will Explore Voting Issues
“Voters in America: Vets Wanted?” debuts this Sunday, May 13. Former U.S. Army infantryman and motivational speaker J.R. Martinez hosts the documentary, which explores the challenges faced by those who have returned from service in Iraq and Afghanistan and how those challenges impact their decisions as they head to the polls.
In July, “Voters in America: Who Counts?” will premiere. Actor Jesse Williams hosts an in-depth look at how election law changes enacted in 14 states since 2008 may impact poll access for the elderly, students, and minorities and ultimately influence the election.
CNN is available to virtually all Suddenlink customers who have what is commonly known as Expanded Basic TV service.
Movies Moms Love Available on VOD
In honor of Mother’s Day this Sunday, May 13, Suddenlink Video on Demand (VOD) is featuring more than a dozen contemporary and classic Movies Moms Love. Among the titles available through the end of the month are “Joyful Noise,” “The Vow,” “Bridges of Madison County,” “Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood,” “Notting Hill,” “The Proposal” and “Two Weeks’ Notice.”

Company Says Kids Need ID Theft Protection
USA Today reported that AllClear ID has launched services to help parents protect children under 18 from identity theft by alerting creditors if their personal information is used to apply for credit. A recent study conducted by AllClear ID claims children are 35 times more likely to fall victim to ID theft than adults.
Facebook Gives Platform to Organ Donors
Zuckerberg said there were several inspirations for the idea, including Steve Jobs’ life-extending liver transplant, Facebook users who have sought assistance after natural disasters, and conversations with his girlfriend, who is studying pediatric medicine.
