It’s Monster Week on Animal Planet
Animal Planet’s Monster Week is back with all-new stories about the world’s most legendary creatures. Scheduled programming explores mermaids, monster squids, super snakes, mutant pigs and other mysterious creatures, both real and imagined.
Tonight’s lineup includes three hour-long programs, “Monster Squid: It Lives,” “Man-Eating Super Squid,” and “River Monsters: Unhooked (Season 5),” beginning at 7 p.m. (CT).

‘Battleground: Rhino Wars’ Starts Tonight
A three-part series, “Battleground: Rhino Wars,” debuts tonight at 8 p.m. CT on Animal Planet. The documentary explores the intense conflict surrounding the commercial demand for rhino horns, an exotic commodity that’s more valuable than gold on the black market. The show follows one of South Africa’s anti-poaching units, which has recruited four current and former members of the U.S. military to help them.
