Oklahoma, Texas Communities Get 50 Mbps Service

Beginning this week, residential customers in the following communities can get Suddenlink High-Speed Internet 50.0 service: Alva, Enid, Muskogee and Wagoner, Okla., and Athens, Clarksville, Gainesville, Henderson, Jacksonville, Lufkin, Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon, Paris, Pittsburg, Victoria, Whitesboro and Winfield, Texas.With a download speed up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps), it is the fastest residential Internet service offered in these communities.

We’ve also added High-Speed Internet 50.0 service in Georgetown, Jarrell, Leander, Pflugerville and Tyler, Texas. The new service adds another choice to our four existing services in these towns, including High-Speed Internet MAX 107.0, featuring a download speed up to 107 Mbps. MAX 107.0 is the fastest residential Internet service in these communities.

Since spring of 2010, MAX 50.0 service has been made available to residential customers in the following Suddenlink-served communities:

  • Arizona: Bullhead City, Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Parker, Payson
  • Arkansas: Arkadelphia, Batesville, Clarksville, Dardanelle, El Dorado, Jonesboro, Lamar, London, Malvern, Morrilton, Perla, Pocahontas, Pottsville, Rockport, Russellville
  • California: Auburn, Humboldt County, Truckee
  • Louisiana: Alexandria, Bossier City (including Barksdale Air Force Base), Haughton, Lake Charles, Natchitoches, Pineville, Sulphur
  • Mississippi: Greenville
  • Missouri: Branson, Nixa, St. Joseph
  • North Carolina: Enfield, Halifax County, Kinston, New Bern, Scotland Neck, Tarboro

Medical Programs on Suddenlink VOD in East Texas

The East Texas Medical Center (ETMC) in Tyler, Texas, now offers medical information from physicians and specialists through Suddenlink’s Video on Demand (VOD) service. In addition to Tyler, free access to these VOD programs is available to Suddenlink customers in the following East Texas communities: Athens, Clarksville, Gladewater, Grand Saline, Henderson, Hideaway, Jacksonville, Lindale, Lufkin, Mineola, Mount Pleasant, Mount Vernon, Nacogdoches, Paris, Pittsburg, Quitman, Sulphur Springs, Tyler, White Oak, Whitehouse and Winnsboro.

Current content includes presentations by physicians in ETMC’s Orthopedic and Neurological Institutes. New topics will be added regularly.

To access ETMC’s video library, Suddenlink customers in the listed communities can enter Channel 997 on their remote controls. A Suddenlink digital receiver is required to access the VOD menu.
