Drum roll: The April Movie Madness titles moving to the third round are … “This is 40” … “The Hobbit” … “Parental Guidance … and “Red Dawn.” The first two and the last two will square off against each other to earn a chance to move on to the championship round.
And now for some even bigger news: We’re offering customers a chance to guess which of these four movies will advance to the final stages of the contest – and, if you guess correctly, you’ll be entered into a random drawing for the chance to win up to 24 free Suddenlink Video on Demand (VOD) movies – or an average of two free movies per month for the next year!
Here’s how it works:
- By or before 11:59 p.m. CT next Monday, April 29, take our short, April Movie Madness Survey to register your guesses about which of the remaining movies will prevail. (No purchase required.)
- Check back on Tuesday, April 30, to see if you correctly predicted the two movies that advance to the championship round – and on Tuesday, May 7, to see if you correctly guessed the champion.
- If your guesses are right – about the final two and the champion – your name will be entered into a random drawing for the grand prize or one of two runner-up prizes.
The grand prize winner will enjoy 24 free Suddenlink VOD movies that can be watched any time between June this year and May next year. The two runner-up prize winners will each receive two free Suddenlink VOD movies that can be watched anytime in June or July this year.
Please see the official rules and regulations for additional information.
For those just joining the fun, our original, 16-movie bracket was unveiled on April 9, reflecting March’s most-purchased Suddenlink Video on Demand (VOD) movies. Each Tuesday since then, we’ve announced the movies from each pairing that were the most purchased through Suddenlink VOD in the preceding week, with the best performers advancing to subsequent rounds.
